At Boulevard Early Learning Centre, our funded 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs provide a joyful, supportive bridge to school. We are a proud child-safe centre, following the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) to support key outcomes: strong identity, wellbeing, connections to the world, confident learning, and effective communication.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we view children as capable, curious protagonists in their own learning. Our program emphasizes child-led projects, creative expression through the “hundred languages” of childhood, meaningful relationships, and real-world exploration.

Our programs are led by two highly experienced and qualified Bachelor of Education kindergarten teachers, who are experienced professionals who bring warmth, expertise, and individualised attention to every child.
We offer:
- Ample space with small classroom sizes — Allowing for personalized, focused learning and plenty of room to move, create, and explore without overcrowding.
- Large playground & outdoor adventures — Daily access to our big, inviting playground for active play, plus hands-on gardening, cooking, and soccer sessions that build gross motor skills, teamwork, and a love of nature.
- Enriching incursions & excursions — Specialist visitors and safe outings (e.g., local parks, farms, museums) that extend child-led curiosity into the community and align with Reggio Emilia’s emphasis on real-world connections.
- Multicultural celebrations & inclusive experiences — We honour diverse backgrounds through festivals, stories, foods, languages, and family involvement, fostering belonging, empathy, and global awareness from an early age.
These experiences complement our play-based approach, supporting school readiness (social skills, early literacy/numeracy, independence) while keeping childhood magical and stress-free.
Funded Sessions & Enrolment
Our 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs are government-funded (check vic.gov.au for eligibility and hours — typically 15 hours/week, with potential expansions). Enrolments are open — don’t miss out on giving your child this enriching start!
